DONG Energy is developing our business in North West Europe with an increasing number of activities. The division Energy Markets connects the energy production from wind turbines, power plants and oil/gas fields with wholesale customers and secures a more stable long-term income for DONG Energy. Energy Markets is responsible for management, trading and optimisation of DONG Energy’s portfolio of gas, power, other commodities and assets in our international markets.
Business Development & Partnerships now seek a talented bachelor student to support our strong team of Business Developers, who works to strengthen our strategy development, acquisitions, strategy execution and negotiations with other energy companies.
Areas of responsibility
As a Student Assistant in Business Development & Partnerships you will be a member of an international team of 12 employees. Your main tasks will be to assist in various projects both internal and external in DONG Energy. The tasks will include:
- Assist with research to analysis of strategic business opportunities and business development projects.
- Participate in the development of new partnerships for Energy Markets through drafts of presentations, analysis, agreements, etc.
- Conduct financial statement analysis, market analysis, data analysis and presentation of these to stakeholders at different levels in the organisation.
Your profile
You are studying on your 3rd year of the bachelor on a HA, cand. oecon, cand. polit. or similar. We expect that you are able to work with us for around two years. Additionally, we expect that:
- Your academic records are among the top of your class.
- You have excellent analytic and communicative skills.
- You have a sense of details and are highly quality focused.
- You can work independently and is self-driven, but also have strong collaborative skills, as most work is done in close corporation with the team and stakeholders.
- You have a strong business English language skills and has knowledge of German.
- You can work around 15-20 hours per week.
