As a Student in Market Data Control, you’ll ensure that the valuation of Nordea’s derivatives are correct and in line with the market and you will be given a unique opportunity within the Nordic region to gain in-depth knowledge on the valuation of financial instruments and derivatives.
In Market Data Control, we are responsible for the controlling of the valuation of Nordea’s securities and derivatives which is done by providing an independent analysis and actively challenging the valuations in the trading portfolio.
What you’ll be doing:
- Perform assigned controls and routine in a timely and accurate manner
- Follow-up on controls through extensive interaction with internal stakeholders (Trading, IT, Risk organization etc.)
- Participate in the continuous development of controls

- You have started a bachelor or master program in finance, engineering or mathematics (or similar) and have minimum 2 years left of studying
- You have a basic and robust understanding of the valuation of financial instruments and financial derivatives
- You are an excellent Excel user and have a very strong interest in programming (Python, SQL, VBA)
- You have excellent communication skills and speak and write English at a professional level
Depending on workload there is a need for flexibility in working hours. Expected average workload is 20 hours per week and with a majority of hours set in the late afternoons. If this sounds like you, we look forward to welcoming you to the team!
