Following the financial crisis of 2007 – 2009, world leaders agreed that the “too big to fail” problem needed to be addressed and never again should taxpayers have to bail-out failing banks. Central to this was the Financial Stability Board’s identification in 2011 of the largest and most significant banks on a global scale. Nordea was one of the banking groups on the list of so-called Global Systemically Important Banks (G-SIB). Being a G-SIB entailed among other additional supervisory requirements, that Nordea was required to draw up a recovery plan for the first time in 2012. Since then, the regulatory space in this area has evolved significantly and as a member of Nordea’s Recovery and Resolution Planning and Strategy team you will take part in the continued developments.
In RRPS you will be at the centre of a broad range of activities in the field of Recovery and Resolution Planning. You will work with stakeholders across all areas of the Group with the annual updates of the recovery plan, assist with various ad-hoc requests, prepare presentations, and provide assistance to the resolution planning activities. This will give you an opportunity to build a valuable network across Nordea Group.

You will be based in Copenhagen but the team is represented in both Stockholm and Copenhagen. Welcome to a small and dedicated team of experts in recovery and resolution planning in Group Risk Management & Control.
