We are now looking for a student assitant to join our Credit Data Analytics team in Risk Analytics.
In Risk Analytics, we are responsible for the development, implementation, operation and maintenance of Danske Bank's Credit Risk and Decision Models. These are the models used for assessing the risk on customers, automating the credit decisions and calculating expected exposure and loss for customers in case of default. These models play a crucial role in the mitigation and monitoring of the bank's credit risk and the estimates feed into the solvency calculation, the credit process, pricing, impairments and cover pool management among other things.
Your position will be in Credit Data Analytics (CDA), where we are a team of 10 persons primarily responsible for providing and quality assuring the data for model development. We work very agile and flexible, together with departments within Group Risk Management as well as across the Group, and hence excellent collaboration skills is a key success criteria. We are located at Danske Bank's office in Høje Taastrup – close to the station.
Your primary tasks will be to:
• In close cooperation with the model developers and IT to identify and prepare data for model development
• Do general data analysis and profiling
• Support the analysts in the department on ad-hoc tasks
Your average weekly working hours will be approximately 15-20 hours, with considerable flexibility with regard to exams.
We are looking for a student (math, physics, statistics, economics) with a minimum of 1 year left before master graduation. You have an interest in risk management and enjoy working with data and performing analyses while paying attention to detail. Also, we expect you to be service-minded, to take ownership of tasks and to have a keen interest in always seeking out new ways to improve and optimize processes. Preferably, you will have experience with SQL, SAS, or other similar software used for data extraction and data analysis.
