Student Assistant to data crunching, analysis and strategic reportin, COO

Danske Bank

Business Agile Academy is growing and is looking for an analytical data champion to support us in lifting and developing our data analysis approach to a new level.

Who we are – Business Agile Academy
The Business Agile Academy is an organisational capability-building unit - part of the Agile Transformation that supports and facilitates the adoption of agile ways of working in Danske Bank across all business units. The unit consists of 10 dedicated team members spanning diverse profiles within psychology, multimedia design and management consultancy. We work towards strengthening the capabilities for all business development teams and leaders by creating high impact learning for cross-functional teams through high quality learning initiatives. We do this to build a shared language and mind-set across the bank that will create synergies and promote cross-functional collaboration.

Your primary responsibilities include but are not limited to:
  • data analysis on potentially large amounts of data
  • data handling in Access, Cornerstone and Tabloid
  • analyse data and present findings
  • strategic reporting to various stakeholders (at times to the Executive Board)
  • update and maintain core data e.g. training KPI’s

You and your competencies
You are currently studying a relevant degree within finance, economics, accounting, engineering or another relevant field related to this (e.g. BSc / MSc. Bus. Admin.) and have min. 2 years left of your studies.

You are detail-oriented with an analytical mindset. You understand and appreciate that data analysis is a vital part of supporting communications as well as being a key input giver to decision-making. You are eager to learn and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment.

Moreover, you:
  • possess a natural flair for working with numbers and analysis
  • have an analytical mind-set and a (very!) structured approach to your work
  • collaborate and communicate effectively and enjoy working both independently and in a team
  • are dedicated, ambitious and are motivated by challenges. However, you put an equal amount of effort into being service minded and delivering high quality on recurring or generic tasks
  • have strong MS Excel skills and are comfortable with PowerPoint
  • have some experience with Access and Tabloid - though not a pre-requisite, but an advantage
  • are excellent in written and spoken English
Location and work hours
  • The Business Agile Academy is located in Ejby, Glostrup
  • Work hours are flexible, and we expect you to work approx. 15 hours per week (flexibility in exam-periods)
