Student Assistants for CFO assistance – now hiring! 

COP is a world leading offshore wind developer and a first-mover in emerging markets for offshore wind. 

We are a small, agile, and highly skilled team with some of the strongest competencies in the offshore wind industry covering all aspects of project development and construction of some of the largest and most complex renewable energy projects in the world. We are a multi-disciplinary team covering all the engineering, finance, legal, regulatory and permitting disciplines needed to succeed. 

We support one of the world’s leading renewable infrastructure investment funds, CIP with more than EUR 7bn under management, in developing and delivering their project pipeline. COP have been growing rapidly for the last two years and we continue to grow in all our core markets in Europe, Asia and North America. We have offices in Copenhagen, Boston, Taipei, Seoul, Tokyo and Melbourne.  

To support our growth ambitions, we are setting up a new agile team reporting to our CFO, and we are looking to hire two or three of the very best students within finance, accounting, engineering or business law. The team will be focal point scaling COP from the rapid growing international start-up it is today to a successful and significant larger global company. 

Key duties for you and the team will be to: 

  • Design, develop and prepare operational and financial reporting for executive management 
  • Cost optimization analysis 
  • Design, develop and implement standardized business processes 
  • Prepare tenders  
  • Review and prepare client, employee and supplier contracts  
  • Manage contract archives 
  • Ad hoc CFO and executive management assistance 
  • Ad hoc tax compliance due diligence

About you: 

We expect you to be self-driven, curious, eager to learn and keen to challenge yourself with new tasks in a changing and challenging environment. Ideally, you will be in the first year of your M.Sc. program and have completed the first part of your study as one of the best in your class. 

  • You are one of the brightest students at your master program  
  • You are a profound user of power point and excel 
  • You have experience from previous student job(s) 
  • You can work 15-20 hours per week

The position will be based at our Copenhagen office.
