We are looking for a student to update and develop analyses of market developments within a range of commodities, including metals, energy sources, plastics and edibles. Kairos Commodities offers our clients access to commodity analyses and forecasts of future commodity price developments through our website www.kairoscommodities.com.
As a student employee at Kairos Commodities you will be able to schedule your working hours to a great extent. The working hours will be 15-25 a week. We expect a certain degree of flexibility near deadlines, but we will accommodate your requests in relation to your exams and schedule.
» Collecting data from a wide range of sources including industry organizations, The Federal Reserve, Eurostat, Census Bureau, CFTC, BLS, and many more.
» Maintaining web-based fundamental analysis including supply, demand, inventory levels, cost driver developments and financial measures
» Supporting the identification and development of additional analytical indicators
» Studies HA (almen) or Polit at 2nd or 3rd year
» Possesses strong quantitative and analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
» Is fluent in written English
» Works independently, professionally and in a well-structured manner
» Is able to define problems, to collect data, to establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
» Enjoys repetitive tasks based on practical procedures and systems
» Has an interest in econometric techniques
» Has a solid knowledge of Excel
» Preferably has experience with VBA, Bloomberg Terminal and/or SQL
