Student Assistant to Risk Models


We are looking for a part-time student assistant to work with risk models alongside the studies. This is an opportunity for you to work with highly skilled, internationally experienced and motivated model builders in an constantly changing, informal and transparent environment.

Your future responsibilities

You’ll join Risk Models, where we have the responsibility of Nordeas models for risk meassurement in areas such as market-, counterparty credit- and credit-risk. Risk models has a key responsibility of the profitability of Nordea as a whole by ensuring sound risk management via internal models.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Develop internal models and tools for risk management.
  • Ensure model compliance with regulation and obtain regulatory approvals.
  • Develop and maintain internal quant library.
  • Cooperate with a variety of stakeholders including IT, Risk management and Front Office.

Your profile and background:

  • Outgoing, have an open mindset and are ready to take on new challenges.
  • Starting a Master 1 or 2, or PhD, within a relevant quantitative field.
  • Excellent writing skills in English.
  • Programming skills is an advantage, but not a requirement.
