Student Analyst for Group CIO Office in Technology

Your future responsibilities

As a student in the Group CIO Office Student Team, you’ll have the opportunity to work with our day-to-day operations as well as providing project and management support in Banking Technology. You will be exposed to a wide range of tasks and stakeholders, contributing to ensure coherence and coordination across various functions. Your ideas will help the team solve challenges faced by our organisation and to break new ground. 

In the Group CIO Office (GCIOO), we are responsible for orchestrating, implementing and coordinating initiatives to support IT in Nordea with the main responsibilities being strategy design and implementation, performance management and management reporting, advisory and support to leaders in making business decisions and strategies as well as communication. 

Key tasks for this position include – but are not limited to: 

  • Data Gathering & Analysis – to be used for planning, recommendations and decision making 
  • Data Maintenance & Reporting – Maintain data for monthly dashboards 
  • Comprising Presentation Material – Develop and maintain presentations in PowerPoint to be used by stakeholders of the student team 
  • Stakeholder Engagement – Communicating and understanding stakeholders to the Student Team 
  • Administrative Support – Ad-hoc tasks related to projects and managers 

As part of this role you’ll be part of a student team that is currently comprised of ten students. The weekly working time will be approx. 15 hours. The position is located in Nordea Metro Copenhagen.

An ability to build and maintain relationships is also an important aspect of the role as we are in communication with many stakeholders. 

To become a success in this role you must be structured, detailed, and possess an analytical mindset in order to compile information and provide analysis to support management with their decision making. On top of this you are also expected to deliver within short time frames. 

Your profile and background:

  • We expect you to be on at least your second year of studies within business administration, economics or engineering and have an interest in the financial industry 
  • Excellent communicator and fluent in English, both written and orally  
  • Adept use of MS Office tools, with advanced excel skills being an advantage 
  • You have a flair for numbers and data 
  • Proactive and a quick learner 
  • Strong focus on supporting your peers
