|C&I Capital and Credit Portfolio Management is part of Danske Bank’s wholesale banking division servicing the largest corporate and institutional customers. The unit is responsible for capital and balance sheet allocation across the wholesale customer base. This to ensure that the loan book and balance sheet utilisation is well diversified from a portfolio perspective and applied efficiently. We are a small team consisting of skilled analysts working closely together with the relationship and product units on ongoing capital allocation and ad hoc tasks. Hereunder analysing the characteristics of the exposures in the loan portfolio and contributing to improving the risk adjusted return of the overall business.|
We are located in Copenhagen, but work with colleagues across the Nordics and our other geographical locations. The workplace has a performance oriented culture and highly specialized people within most areas of finance. The structure is flat giving ample opportunity to be part of decisions.
You will develop a good understanding of wholesale and investment banking, and how customer demands are filled across the organisation in an environment, which is closely connected to the financial markets. In addition, you will become familiar with the risk/reward portfolio considerations that are key for the allocation decision.
You are hard working and enjoy being part of a dynamic environment and thrive in a job with both high degrees of freedom, but also high expectations. You are analytical, ambitious, curious and able to communicate complex messages in an easily understandable way.
We are looking for someone with a strong background in mathematics and finance, and are analytical by nature. You are on the last year of your Master degree in finance, economics or mathematics. You have experience in working with data and databases, and either have or are willing to learn some basic programming (SQL/SAS). We expect you to start as soon as possible as student analyst with full time employment from 1 September 2019, when the First Year Analyst programme kicks off.
