Your team
Deloitte Corporate Finance is part of the Financial Advisory practice at Deloitte. There are approximately 120 practitioners divided between our offices in Copenhagen and Aarhus, all assisting our national and international clients with real insights and complex problem solving.

As we continue our growth journey, we are looking for a full-time employee to join our team in Copenhagen. Working with us, you will be engaged in a wide variety of high-profile mergers and acquisitions (M&A) within a client-focused environment.

The position
As an Associate, you will be joining a team of +35 experienced Corporate Finance professionals who provide M&A advisory to company owners, entrepreneurs and private equity clients.

You will be engaged in transactions, where we are advising clients on strategic, financial and tactical aspects of the process when either buying or selling a company. We work in close collaboration with founders and top management and you will support the team in analysing and valuing the company, preparing presentations for potential investors and other relevant assignments related to the M&A process.

Working with M&A you can expect a steep learning curve and responsibility from day one. We believe in leadership at all levels. Therefore, we foster a culture that encourages you to take the lead on your specific development level.

Your qualifications
You demonstrate a drive and curiosity to learn and achieve insights and a good business understanding. Furthermore, the ideal candidate is ambitious, committed and motivated by teamwork and personal communication.

We envisage our future colleague to have the following qualifications:

  • Relevant educational background such as cand.merc., cand.oecon., cand.polit., or similar
  • You are almost through your studies or have completed it within the last two years
  • You are solution-oriented, structured and able to balance a high level of activity with high-quality performance
  • You are familiar with the theory behind different valuation models and can perform high-level financial analyses
  • You have good communication and presentation skills, both verbally and in writing
  • You naturally interact with people and are motivated by expanding your network
  • You have proven research skills and possess solid knowledge of the MS Office package.
