Research Assistant for Market team

Copenhagen Economics A/S

DO YOU WANT TO WORK WITH AND LEARN FROM THE BEST ECONOMISTS IN THE NORDICS?

We are looking for a colleague to join our team of students at our Copenhagen office. You'll be joining our 'Market' team whom among other things focus on our services within competition, postal & delivery, and tender & auction support.

At Copenhagen Economics, you will get the opportunity to have a direct impact, working for some of the most influential institutions, organisations and enterprises across Europe and beyond. You will develop your skills in economics by learning from and working closely with our team of experienced consultants. Your tasks will be varied, such as finding and analysing data, creating graphs and presentations, and supporting our consultants with the final details on our reports.

A normal working week constitutes 20 hours at our Copenhagen office, but with two-way flexibility, particularly around exam periods.

The ideal candidate should be able to demonstrate:

  • Excellent academic performance as bachelor or master student in economics at university level
  • Great communication skills; able to cut a clear story and substantiate it with hard facts
  • Independence and can-do attitude with an ability to find creative solutions to real-life problems
  • High work ethic, flexible and effective in the prioritisation of own work
  • Effortless communication in English
  • Strong IT and programming skills, particularly in Excel, Stata and any other relevant platforms
Please send us your CV, a short cover letter, and academic transcripts from high school and onwards no later than 15 September 2019. In your cover letter, please elaborate on why you would like to work with us and why you believe you would make a good fit for the role and our team.

We will review applications and conduct interviews after the application deadline. Any questions regarding the positions or the application process can be directed to Malthe Faber Laursen or Stine Fechtenburg.
