First Year Analyst - Rates & credit family

Danske Bank

Would you like to utilise your quantitative and qualitative skills to thrive in a fast-paced environment where you will have great autonomy from day one? Are you curious about interest rates, central bank’s decisions, economic outlook and how these influence trading opportunities in fixed income products? If so, we have the perfect challenge for you.

At Danske Bank, we are looking for an ambitious first-in-class First Year Analyst (FYA) to join our rates and credit family, which is part of the Fixed Income & Currencies (FI&C) trading floor located in Copenhagen. The rates and credit family offers a broad range of roles, and for the 2021 FYA we are looking for a candidate that will fit into either Sales/Advisory, Trading or Primary Markets (all of these are described in detail below). The specific team of employment will be determined in collaboration between Danske Bank and the chosen FYA and will be based on qualifications, interests and the business need.

The rates and credit family trades a vast set of assets, spanning government bonds to interest rate options, with Danish and International clients. We put great value in collaboration, both with our clients but also with other divisions within the bank, hence there is close collaboration between Research, Sales, Trading, Primary and Quant. Furthermore, our setup enables us to work closely together with our colleagues in Stockholm, Oslo, Helsinki as well as London and New York.
