We are looking for an enthusiastic First Year Analyst to our Product Support team, handling derivatives contracts. Product Support is a Middle Office function in the Fixed Income & Currencies (FI&C) area within Corporates and Institutions (C&I). FI&C services covers large core clients, globally, within the institutional segment across asset classes e.g. credit, rates and FX. In the organisation, Product Support is placed in the Chief Operating Office within C&I.
Product Support works closely with the trading desks, facilitating the product process from deal capture to settlement. This means that you will gain a deep understanding of derivative products, the bank’s IT systems and internal processes. Furthermore, analysing data and solving problems on an ad-hoc basis in collaboration with both the trading desks and back office is an important part of the job.

Be a team player
The role requires a genuine interest in and understanding of financial products and most importantly, being a strong team player. The primary responsibility of this position is to assist on derivatives, including trade amendments, lifecycle management and ad hoc analysis for various asset classes. Together with stakeholders, you will use your strong collaborative skills in projects to implement new regulation and improve derivative product processes. The job requires that you thrive in a high-paced environment and are not afraid to take on new challenges.
You have a strong academic background with a M.Sc. in economics, finance, accounting, business or a related study with a good academic track record. Excel skills are important and some programming knowledge is an advantage, but not a requirement. In addition, you have an interest in the financial markets and the practical use of derivatives.
As a person, you excel when working in teams and you like to take initiative. When the situation requires it, you are comfortable using your analytical skills to solve problems. You are forthcoming and able to engage in dialogue with a variety of people.
