Part-time analyst for M&A Insights

The Opportunity

As NKP | M&A Insights continues to onboard more clients in the Nordics and increasing the scope and depth of our coverage, we are looking for a part time M&A Analyst with a native interest in mergers & acquisitions and private equity, with responsibilities including:

• Analyze M&A transactions across DK, SE, NO, and FI
• Writing and publishing the daily M&A Newsletter
• Identify, structure, and analyze company- and transaction data
• Analyze precedent transactions and multiples and annual reports
• Research, engage, and interview with founders/CEOs of growth firms and write the associated articles/case studies for publication

The opportunity will provide the Analyst with a broad understanding of the workings of the M&A and private equity landscape and the different players operating within it, and he/she will have direct exposure to our customers working at Nordic private equity firms, investment banks, strategy/management consultancies and law firms. 

Analysts with NKP | M&A Insights have historically moved directly from NKP into roles within investment banking and private equity for example at Danske Bank, EY, Catacap, Morgan Stanley, and PFA Alternative Investments.

Qualifications

• Professional proficiency in writing in English
• Native speaker of one Nordic language
• Have a minimum of 1 year left of your studies
• Attention to detail and an acute sense of ownership for tasks given
• Experience with financial statement analysis is an advantage but not a requirement
