Are you a highly committed student curious about tech and passionate about finance?

…then explore our exciting opportunity as an Associate Analyst in Deloitte's Reporting & Analytics team in Finance & Performance.

Deloitte Consulting Finance & Performance is the number one service provider within finance consulting and advisory. We work within the entire CFO spectrum and help clients operate, optimise and transform their finance functions. We have national and international clients of various sizes from different industries. We thrive on client interaction and satisfaction, and the foundation will always remain the same: our real passion for the CFO area.

If you would like to be part of a multicultural team that values collaboration and continuous personal development, we believe that we are a match for you! You will have the chance to shape your own path, and we go a long way to match you with the right assignments based on your strengths, preferences, and development opportunities. You will also be assigned a personal Talent Manager, who will serve as your development coach.

The Reporting & Analytics team

As a part of the Finance & Performance department, our overall purpose in the Reporting & Analytics team is to deliver value to our clients by leveraging digital technologies. This includes working with management reporting, process automation and data modelling and visualisation. We primarily work with Excel, VBA programming, Power Query, and PowerBI, but we are continuously exploring new tools and applications.

Our team consists of associate analysts and experienced consultants who will enable your development through close sparring. In addition, you will get a dedicated talent manager who will support you in achieving your goals and help you prepare for a career in management consulting.

Exciting tasks await you

As an associate analyst, you will work both on client projects in close collaboration with experienced consultants and on internal projects. Your primary tasks will include:

  • Development of financial models and reporting applications
  • Optimisation and automation of financial processes
  • Exploration of new technologies and digital tools to be used in the finance area.

We expect you to work approximately 15 - 20 hours per week but will of course adjust your tasks according to your studies and exams.

You have the following skills and experience

We are looking for people who have a flair for finance, are curious about tech and are eager to explore the combination of the two. Your line of study and prior experience are not the most important factors. We are more interested in your strong analytical skills combined with an engaged, structured, and curious personality.

You are also:

  • Either a master's programme student with more than six months left or a bachelor's student in the final year of your programme
  • Interested in learning (or already familiar with) our core tools (see above)
  • A good communicator with a flair for both oral and written communication in English

Programming experience is an advantage but not at all a requirement.
