About this opportunity
Welcome to the Leveraged Finance Denmark team. Our team of approx. 35 professionals across the Nordics is responsible for delivering first-class debt services and financing solutions to local and international private equity funds. Such services include leveraged buyouts, acquisition financings, debt capital markets transactions, dividend recapitalisations and restructurings. As Assistant Analyst in Leveraged Finance you will have the opportunity to work with the unit’s pan-Nordic project teams and closely with other Investment Banking units to support all parts of the private equity related financing value chain, including pitching, structuring, execution and distribution of instruments. Our team aim to deliver on high work ethics and strong client focus together with a positive and non-hierarchal mindset, promoting all in the team to take on responsibility.
What you’ll be doing:
- Perform various tasks linked to company analysis and modelling in order to understand company specific risk
- Conduct preparation and review of materials used in the financing of clients, including investment memoranda, management presentations and pitch books
- Participate in the development of recommendations as well as deal structuring and execution of private equity financing transactions
- Stay updated on market development on products and services in order to support the development of relevant advice and services to clients
- Concisely summarise recommendations as well as market updates both in writing and verbally to clients and internal stakeholders

The position is 20 hours a week with flexibility during exam and holiday periods.

Your experience and background:
- Solid academic record. Ideally, you have at least two years left of your studies
- First-rate communication skills in English and Danish (or another Scandinavian language)
- Strong numerical, analytical and financial modelling skills, including hands-on experience with MS Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
