Are you studying for your Bachelor’s or Master’s degree and do you want a practical experience that will give you an insight into global data-driven decision making and management support in Novo Nordisk R&D? Then you might be the new intern we are looking for in Submission & Lifecycle Management Business Support. We are looking for 2 new interns to join our team.
About the department
SubLCM Business Support is a department placed in Submission & Lifecycle Management consisting of four functional areas: Regulatory Affairs (approvals by health authorities), Global Safety (patient safety and handling of adverse events), Clinical Reporting (activities related to reporting in our clinical trials) and R&D Quality (ensuring high quality in our work in R&D).
SubLCM Business Support is responsible for a variety of classical business support activities ranging from data analysis, running strategic processes, business intelligence tools and project management across the global SubLCM organisation. Our main goal is to ensure solid data to drive better-informed decision making and we proactively seek to improve data quality and processes.
You will be part of a young dynamic department where the professional backgrounds are diverse including IT, engineering, business and finance, management consulting etc.
The position
As an intern in SubLCM Business Support, you will be responsible for a wide range of data analytics tasks such as preparing monthly performance reporting, using and building forecasting models across SubLCM, as well as updating and optimising performance measurement systems and developing Excel-based or BI solutions to handle large datasets across the organisation. Furthermore, you will be involved in or independently drive various internal development projects e.g. to improve data quality or optimise processes.
In our department, we invest strongly in our 2-3 interns who play an important role. During the 6 months, you will learn how to deliver strong and profound results in an efficient and value-adding way. - Internship Period: Full-time position for 6 months.
- Start date: Flexible start date from now until 1st of August 2021
- A Danish full-time work permit is required, and you need to be a student to apply for the position
Qualifications
Currently, you are pursuing a relevant Bachelor or Master’s degree within Economics, Statistics, Finance, Business Administration, Engineering or similar. As a person, you are highly driven, always proactive and hold strong analytical skills. Delivering results is vital for you and due to a structured mindset, you are capable of meeting deadlines without compromising on quality while being involved in several projects simultaneously.
It is highly valuable if you have qualifications within VBA, Tableau, SQL, Alteryx, SAS, NLP etc. Excellent analytical skills with a flair for Microsoft (Excel and PowerPoint) is a requirement. Furthermore, you are a team player who can interact with employees at all levels in a multicultural working environment and understand the importance of being service-minded and ready for ad hoc tasks.
