Corporate Finance Student Analyst (Part-Time)

About the Position:

We are looking for two motivated and detail-oriented Student Analysts to join the Corporate Finance department. As a Student Analyst, you will play a crucial role in facilitating strategic financial transactions that drive the growth and success of our hybrid energy projects. These two positions are situated in the Structured & Project Finance team and will report to the Director of Structure and Corporate Finance. In addition to being apart of the Structured & Project Finance team, you will provide some additional support to our M&A team. This is a great opportunity for students looking to broaden their knowledge base and gain exposure to different areas within corporate finance.

The Structured & Project Finance team is responsible for securing external financing on both project and TopCo level, and managing the overall loan portfolio of the company. Whereas our M&A team focuses on buy and sell-side transactions of Solar PV and BESS assets. 

This student role is based at our new and modern office in Hellerup. The role is 15-20 hours per week (spread across 2-3 days), with flexible working hours to accommodate your studies.

Your Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in developing and structuring attractive financing solutions for new solar PV and BESS projects.

• Assist in the evaluation and execution of divestments of our solar PV projects across Europe.

• Conduct financial modeling, valuation analysis, and due diligence to support transaction processes.

• Prepare detailed financial reports, presentations, and investment memoranda for internal and external stakeholders.

• Monitor market trends, regulatory developments, and competitor activities in the renewable energy sector.

• Support the teams in negotiations and deal structuring.

• Provide analytical support for strategic initiatives as needed.

About You:

• Currently pursuing a MSc in Finance, Economics, or a related field

• Solid experience in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint

• Strong analytical skills and proficiency in financial modeling and valuation techniques

• Excellent written and spoken English (Danish is a plus).

• It is a plus if you have a basic understanding of the renewable energy sector, particularly solar PV projects.

• Strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment

• Effective communication and interpersonal skills

• Proactive attitude and eagerness to learn and contribute to the team
