Data Analytics for Rwanda's National Agriculture Strategy

Are you interested in development economics and data analysis? 

Here is an opportunity to work on data analysis to inform Rwanda's next Strategic Plan for Transformation of Agriculture 2024-2030. 

About Vanguard Economics: A research firm established in Rwanda in 2015. Read more about us here: www.vanguardeconomics.com. We have about 50 staff and work on economic research topics mainly in East Africa. 

The job: You will be given datasets to analyze determinants of crop productivity, house hold incomes, food security etc. 

You will be reporting to our Practice Lead for Data & MEL division with guidance and check-ins as needed.

The weekly work hours is 10-20 per week for 6 months with possibility of extension. 

The job is remote. It is also possible to create an internship for candidates interested in working from our office in Kigali. 

Salary to be determined according to your experience and qualifications.

About you: You have a demonstrated interest in development economics and data analysis. You have a goal of working in Africa some time in the future.
