ESG Student for real estate start-up

Home.Earth is looking for a student to hold an important role in supporting our most critical areas within investor relations, ESG and legal. The position offers a unique opportunity to learn about professional fundraising and investor relations, working with both Danish and international institutional investors, family offices and high net worth individuals. In addition, you will be diving into complex material, research, and hands-on work with ESG compliance to support our aim of being a thought leader and best in class within sustainable real estate development and operation.

 

The role and main responsibilities

You will be working alongside an experienced team, supporting with various tasks in the areas of ESG, legal, supply chain, compliance, investor relations and fundraising. Some of your responsibilities will be the following:

  • Keeping updated on the legislation and practices related to the various ESG regulations affecting Home.Earth
  • Organizing and handling relevant data supporting the measurement and reporting of impact indicators, including updating of source data on a regular basis
  • Updating and keeping an overview of our corporate policies and procedures to make sure they are always relevant and up to date
  • Managing our supplier screening process and assisting in the oversight of our supply chain due diligence
  • Various legal tasks related to our group entities (i.e. GDPR, KYC)
  • Supporting Investor Relations with fundraising by servicing existing and potential investors and keeping up with administrative tasks

 

Who are you?
We are looking for a candidate, who is currently studying within a relevant study line, including but not limited to Business, Sustainability, Law, Business law, Economics or the like. Besides, it would be beneficial if you;

  • Have a strong interest in the intersection between law, sustainability/ESG and business
  • Are keen on diving into ESG legislation and reporting
  • Have some prior knowledge of corporate sustainability, EU regulations or standards within sustainability reporting (e.g. SFDR, EU Taxonomy)
  • Can work independently and feel safe in asking questions
  • Are solution-oriented and can take ownership even when things seem uncertain
  • Are a positive person who appreciates humor and social happenings
  • Are fluent in written and verbal English, as this is our corporate language (required)
