Who are we looking for?

  • Junior Research Analysts typically join us towards the end of their Bachelor’s or the beginning of their Master’s studies in Economics.
  • The ideal candidate would be highly analytical and have strong communication skills and a keen attention to detail.
  • You should be able to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Fluency in English is essential and fluency in one or more Nordic languages is desirable.
  • Ability to use Stata, Excel, Python and/or R is also a plus.

What will I be doing?

Junior Research Analysts contribute to cases in a variety of ways, working closely our economists to understand the issues that face the client, relating those issues to relevant economic theory, and supporting the analysis with solid and persuasive empirical evidence.

This can include: 

  • Analysing qualitative and quantitative data to better understand how competition works in our clients’ industry.
  • Reviewing economic literature and contributing to discussions about the theoretical and empirical approach.
  • Conducting empirical analysis using Stata, Excel, and other data analysis software.
  • Drafting summaries of the analysis.
  • Potentially participating in client meetings and conference calls.

We expect the position to be 15-20 hours per week with highly flexible working hours to fit your schedule, including exam periods.
