Finance Student for CARE Denmark

As a student employee in Finance, you solve tasks across the department in close collaboration with the project finance and accounting teams in the Finance Department.

You will help the Finance department to increase its efficiency in its day to day work,  help us to improve our internal processes, and deliver internal and external financial reports in due course.

Primary tasks:

• Provide support to maintain the time registration system on a continuous basis
• Support the accounting unit to Prepare the monthly bookkeeping for time registration based on the approved timesheets in the time registration system
• Support Finance Business Partner in internal budget follow up process (develop and update the templates, support in required adjustments and communication as needed). 
• Support Finance Controllers in a daily tasks related to country financial reporting
• Support the Finance business partner on a regular monitoring of an expenditure incurred on grants on a headquarter level
• Support the project finance team in a monthly reconciliation/adjustment exercise
• Support in preparation of quarterly financial reports (internal/external)
• Own and update the Finance sharepoint site 
• Check that business procedures are complied with in relation to the financial management of projects;
• Support Finance department to develop dashboards and BI reports to document and better follow up on the portfolios and processes.
• Support CFO to document and follow up on internal meetings (teams, department etc..)
• Provide other support as needed to the CFO, project Finance and accounting teams

We expect you to:

• you to be enrolled in relevant studies - cand.merc., cand.merc.aud., cand.oecon. or similar, and you have at least one year left of your studies
• be an advanced in Excel and preferably with an experience in BI solutions
• have a passion for numbers, analytically strong and meticulous
• have good Danish and English skills in writing and speaking. French is a plus, but not a requirement
• work independently, structured and efficiently
• be a committed team-player who can contribute to a good working environment
