Student Transformation Consultant

Do you want to help set the strategic direction of Danske Bank and steer ~5.000 IT and business-minded colleagues through well-tested and effective agile governance processes? And are you looking for an opportunity to bring the bank’s new strategy to life?

We are looking for engaged and skilled students to join our Agile Governance team, anchored in Transformation & Strategy within Technology & Services.

Student transformation consultants with high aspirations

In close collaboration with stakeholders across the bank, including Executive Leaders, Tribe and Domain leadership teams, Strategy and Group Finance, we refine, mature, and execute the strategic funding allocation and governance of the IT development across Danske Bank incl. the Annual and Quarterly Business Review processes (ABR/QBR).

We refine, mature, and implement the agile framework and guidelines for Danske Bank to measure and track outcomes, key results, and productivity gains. As part of defining and guiding how the development organisation works, we support Group Finance and Group Strategy in infusing Agile principles into financial steering and tracking. We collaborate closely to consolidate the development portfolio outcomes, benefits, and costs to facilitate target setting.

What we are looking for in you – Curiosity and proactivity

We are looking for students to join our team, focusing on supporting our consultants with data analytics, running different processes, and supporting improvements of our strategic projects. Moreover, the role will also entail various ad-hoc tasks to support our team.

We believe in learning by doing, so we do not expect you to have a lot of experience, but you need to be eager to learn and develop yourself. We are looking for someone who is data driven and has an interest in problem solving as well as delivering quality work in a timely manner. The right candidate is currently studying a Bachelor or Master degree and has:

  • Experience in Excel
  • Experience with PowerPoint presentations
  • Solid English skills, both spoken and written
  • Experience or willingness to learn other data analytics tools is a plus (e.g., Alteryx, Tableau).

Given the nature of our work, we truly live by the cultural commitments of Danske Bank: Be openOwn it and Team up. That means it should be natural for you to ask questions, question ways of working, take responsibility, and learn from exposure, success, and failures in everyday experiences. Besides that, we also look for a colleague who is eager to actively contribute to a fun and engaging work environment.

You work well in a fast-paced transformation environment where we have high expectations for the agile organisation. You are inspired by stakeholder interactions and influence, and you are able to apply an analytical and strategic mind-set to problem solving.

Learn and grow into the role

You will become part of a motivated and creative team that has a large impact on the execution of Danske Bank’s overall strategy. You will gain competencies within comprehending and supporting a large and complex group of stakeholders as well as translating input into understandable outcomes.

You will get an exciting job in an international and motivating environment where the opportunities for personal and professional development are great.

We expect you would be able to work ~15 hours per week with mutual flexibility. We will of course provide you with extra flexibility during exam periods.

If you have any questions about the job, you are welcome to contact Louise Heller Larsen at LOHELA@danskebank.dk or +45 5117 1306.

We will be conducting interviews on an ongoing basis, so please apply sooner rather than later.
