JUNIOR ANALYST FOR RESPONSIBLE INVESTMENTS, NOVO HOLDINGS

The Job
As a Junior Analyst, you will support the strategic ESG agenda within Novo Holdings. You will undertake challenging and varying tasks that offer insights into the rapidly evolving area of ESG standards and reporting as well as investment processes across public and private markets.
You will have a broad range of tasks including:
- ESG data compilation, excel modelling and structuring for ESG reporting
- Supporting our commitment to set Science Based Targets by sourcing and analysing climate data
- Developing ESG-related tools and templates for investment teams
- Assisting in ESG assessments of funds and external asset managers
- Preparation of ESG presentations, memos and training material
You will be part of the Responsible Investments team, that acts as a center of excellence and business support. We have a broad set of interfaces to the rest of Novo Holdings through cross-departmental projects and assistance to the investment teams. As part of your role, you will receive continuous feedback and engage in sparring with the team. You will further become a part of the Novo Holdings student network.
The working hours will be approximately 15-20 hours a week with flexibility in relation to your studies.
Academic & Professional Qualifications
We are ideally looking for a candidate who:
- Is on 2nd or 3rd year of a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration (IB, IBP, HA Almen, etc.), Economics or equivalent or 1st year of a master’s degree within Finance and/or Strategy (FSM, AEF, FIR, Economics or equivalent)
- Has achieved excellent academic result
- Possesses good quantitative skills
- Possesses strong verbal and written skills in English
- Has experience with the MS Office package, especially Excel and PowerPoint
Personal Qualifications
We are looking for a candidate who:
- Has an interest and basic understanding of the field of ESG
- Is analytically strong and comfortable working with complex quantitative and qualitative analysis
- Is a team player who thrives in a collaborative and international work environment
- Enjoys flexibility and variation of task with few answers given beforehand
