The Job
As a Junior Analyst in the Strategy Office, you will undertake challenging and varying tasks in relation to developing Novo Holdings’ investment strategies both at a Novo Holdings-level and at the investment area level as well as contribute to the execution of strategic projects. The job will offer you a comprehensive skillset that constitutes a stepping-stone for a career within management consulting. 

The position will challenge your professional, academic, and intellectual capacity, and your tasks will include:

  • Being part of building Novo Holdings 2030 Strategy, where you will conduct strategic analysis to support the full strategy development
  • Supporting investment teams in building their annual strategy updates to the Novo Holdings Board of Directors, which includes a combination of financial and strategic analysis
  • Contribute to life science sector reviews that cut across investment areas

You will join our nimble team of 5 people with deep experience in strategy development and responsible investments. As part of your role, you will receive continuous feedback from and engage in sparring with the team, and you will further become a part of the Novo Holdings student network.

The workload will be approximately 15-20 hours a week with flexibility in relation to your studies. 

 

Academic & Professional Qualifications
We are ideally looking for a candidate who:

  • Is on 2nd or 3rd year of a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration (IB, IBP, HA Almen, etc.), Economics or equivalent or 1st year of a master’s degree within Finance and/or Strategy (FSM, AEF, FIR, Economics or equivalent)
  • Has achieved excellent academic results and is ranked within the top of the line of study
  • Possesses strong verbal and written communication skills in English
  • Has experience with the MS Office package, especially Excel and PowerPoint

  • Is comfortable working with complex quantitative and qualitative analysis
