Junior Analyst for the Novo Growth
Novo Holdings is looking for a Junior Analyst to join the Novo Growth team.

As a Junior Analyst, you will undertake challenging and varying tasks that offer real insights into both investment processes and active ownership of growth equity companies within life sciences. The job will offer you a comprehensive skillset that constitutes a steppingstone for a career within investment banking, management consulting, private equity, growth equity, or venture capital.
The Job
As a Junior Analyst you will become part of the Novo Growth team. The team makes sizeable investments in highly innovative, scalable life science companies that have recently reached, or are close to, the commercial stage, with strong long-term potential.
Your tasks will include:
- Contributing to financial analyses of potential investment cases through valuation models
- Conducting strategic analyses of potential investments and the market they operate in
- Collecting, structuring, and efficiently communicating information on potential or existing investments
Your primary function will be to support the Novo Growth team, which is based in San Francisco. However, you will work from Novo Holdings’ Copenhagen office, and will join a dynamic team of 6+ other Junior Analysts who primarily support the Principal Investments team.
The workload will be approximately 20 hours a week with flexibility in relation to your studies. You will receive continuous feedback from – and engage in sparring with – a strong team with international experience from management consulting, private equity, investment banking, and the life science industry.
Academic & Professional Qualifications
We are looking for a candidate who:
- Is on the 2nd or 3rd year of a bachelor’s degree (HA Almen, International Business, Economics or equivalent)
- Has achieved excellent academic results and is ranked within the top of his/her line of study
- Possesses strong verbal and written skills in English
- Has experience with the MS Office package, especially Excel and PowerPoint
- Shows an interest in the life science industry
