Junior Analyst - Growth Capital

Green growth fund seeking ambitious analyst(s)
Nordic Alpha Partners is Danish growth fund investing in Industrial GreenTech companies with a global potential that can be unleashed through new sustainable technologies such as renewable energy, recycling and 3D printing. We are looking for 1-2 ”Junior Analyst(s)” to support our analysts and partners in identifying, analyzing and assessing investment opportunities, and to carry out analyses of the market opportunities and challenges that our portfolio companies face.

What you will be doing
In the role as Junior Analyst your tasks are:
- to identify potential investment candidates via desk research and NAP’s sourcing network
- to provide the initial summary and assessment of potential investment candidates based on company presentations, meetings with management and expert interviews
- to carry out analyses and due diligence of investment candidates and to prepare material for the partners as basis for the investment decision 
- to perform ad-hoc analyses (market sizing, competitive situation, trends, etc.) related to value creation interactions with existing portfolio companies.

About you
You are studying a degree withing business economics or technical science (e.g. cand.merc., cand.polit, cand.oecon, cand.polyt) and you are most likely in the final year of your Bachelor or first year of your Master’s degree. Furthermore, we expect you to have: 
- interest in growth equity investing
- understanding and interest in analyzing business opportunities within a diverse field of industries
- distinct analytical skills and focus on quality in your deliveries
- good interpersonal skills and desire to enter dialogue with companies about their business opportunities
- strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
- potentially experience with business intelligence and related software (e.g., PowerBI and Tableau) 
- solid oral and written English language skills 
- grades placing you among the best and brightest students

The position provides you with a steep learning curve where you will be challenged from your first working day. As a Junior Analyst we emphasize that you have a solid understanding of the link between data and business opportunities, and that you naturally contribute to the good atmosphere and team spirit.

Our working day is changeable and often hectic; hence workload and deadlines can vary considerably from task to task, which is why it is crucial that you have a flexible attitude.
