Junior Analysts for Capital Investments, Novo Holdings

Novo Holdings is looking for students with a passion for investments and desire to learn about different asset classes to join our Capital Investments team.

The Capital Investments team is responsible for Novo Holdings’ investment activities outside the life science sector. We currently manage ~80 billion DKK across listed equities, credits, private equity & venture managers, real estate and infrastructure. Capital Investments employ ~16 professionals and is on an exciting journey to grow further over the coming years. Novo Holdings is headquartered in Hellerup, Copenhagen, with affiliates in San Francisco, Boston, Singapore, London and Shanghai.

The Job
Together with 3-4 other Junior Analysts, you will assist the team with various tasks related to investment research and portfolio management. Key responsibilities will include:

  • Research on industries and companies to support investment decisions
  • Update and develop portfolio management systems
  • Financial analysis and modelling
  • Presentation work in PowerPoint

As part of your learning and development, you will receive continuous feedback from and engage in sparring with the team. The workload will be approximately 15-20 hours a week with flexibility in relation to your studies and during exam periods.

Academic & Professional Qualifications
We are ideally looking for a candidate who:

  • Is on the 3rd year of a bachelor’s degree (HA Almen, International Business, Economics or equivalent) and plan to enrol in a master’s program within finance and/or strategy (FIR, FSM, FIN, OECON, AEF, Economics or equivalent)
  • Has achieved excellent academic results
  • Possesses strong verbal and written skills in English
  • Has experience with the MS Office package, especially Excel and PowerPoint
