Junior Associate – Distressed Debt and Special Situations, Copenhagen
We are looking for two part-time Junior Associates (students) to further strengthen the research team within Distressed Debt and Special Situations.
The core focus of the team is credit analysis of companies with debt trading significantly below par. As part of the team, you will get experience with fundamental company analysis, financial modeling, valuation, capital structure analysis and corporate financial restructurings. In addition, you will become familiar with various financial instruments and get insights into a wide range of companies in various industries globally.
Job description:
- Work with Investment Analysts to build financial models to support investment decisions
- Assist on in-depth company and market analysis of potential investment targets
- Various other ad-hoc assignments related to credit selection
- The position is estimated to be 15-20 hours a week with a flexible attitude towards working hours
Qualifications:
- Attending a relevant university or business school and pursuing a degree within finance, economics, law and economics or similar with good academic credentials with 2-3 years remaining
- Great quantitative skills and attentive to detail
- A structured working approach, and an ability to consistently deliver high quality results
- Team player with an ambitious and proactive mindset
- Excellent communication skills and high proficiency in written and spoken English
