Junior Associate for the Investment Team (Quantitative Research) - Copenhagen
We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented part-time student with an interest in data analytics to join our Quantitative Research team within the Research and Investment division (15 hours/week, with flexible hours during exam periods). This role offers hands-on experience in enhancing data-driven processes and supporting investment decision-making.
Job description
- Develop and maintain in-house tools to optimize data-driven processes and support the investment workflow.
- Design and implement processes for data collection, storage, analysis, and governance to ensure the integrity and efficient use of information.
- Support digital transformation initiatives within the investment team, driving innovation and improving data utilization.
- Apply descriptive and predictive analytics to deliver actionable insights and deploy advanced analytics solutions in production.
- Create interactive dashboards and applications using Python, SQL, and Power BI to enhance decision-making.
- Collaborate with the investment team and cross-departmental stakeholders to generate impactful insights.
About you
- Currently pursuing a degree in economics, finance, mathematics, data science, or a related field, with 1–3 years remaining in your studies and a strong academic record.
- Skilled in quantitative analysis, coding, and data visualization, with experience using Python, SQL, and Power BI.
- Possess analytical abilities, attention to detail, and a problem-solving mindset.
- Proactive with strong communication skills, and ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Have an interest in learning about financial markets and investments.
