Junior Associate for the Private Debt Team - Copenhagen
The Private Debt team consists of eleven investment professionals and two junior associates, delivering financing solutions for private equity-backed transactions across Northern and Western Europe. The team currently manages EUR +3.0 billion in funds across the capital structure, including senior, junior, and quasi-equity instruments.
Private Debt is looking to add a part-time Junior Associate to further strengthen the team. As part of the team, you will support with analyses of potential new investments across a wide range of industries and capital structures, including company analysis and financial modeling. You will also be involved with portfolio management and monitoring of existing investments in the Private Debt portfolio.
Job description
- Perform detailed commercial and financial analyses that form the basis for investment decisions.
- Be involved in portfolio management and monitoring, including preparing monthly and quarterly portfolio reports.
- Perform ad-hoc tasks related to new and existing investments, financing documentation and data handling.
- The position is estimated to be 15 hours a week with a flexible attitude towards working hours.
About you
- You are pursuing a degree within finance, economics or similar with great academic credentials, preferably with at least two years remaining of your studies.
- You are comfortable with Excel and have a thorough understanding of financial statements.
- You have excellent communication skills and high proficiency in written and spoken English.
- You are a team player with an analytical and structured mindset, attention to details, and an ability to consistently deliver high quality results.
