Junior Business Analyst in the Commercial team at UNION therapeutics

If you want to join us on this journey, you now have the opportunity to join us as a Junior Business Analyst in the Commercial team in our headquarter in Tuborg Havn, Hellerup. The commercial team currently consists of 4 people with experience in commercialization, strategy development, business development, and medical affairs. The team shares high ambitions and a dynamic working environment where we support each other to drive execution and collaborate to win.   

As a part of the commercial team, you will be a key person involved in strategic projects with direct exposure to the management team. Reporting to the Commercial Director, the Junior Business Analyst conducts research and analysis and supports all members of the team (incl. CCO and VP of medical affairs) on projects and ad hoc tasks related to market research, competitive intelligence, partnership dialogues, and commercial planning and strategy. You will be required to work 15-20 hours per week, with a competitive salary and high flexibility on when and where you work from.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Conduct market research by analyzing and synthesizing complex information from data analytic platforms and various sources, and develop presentations to communicate results
• Develop evidence-based forecasts and recommendations to support business decisions
• Collect and synthesize competitive intelligence (e.g., information on competitive drugs in development, incl. synthesizing preclinical and clinical findings)
• Participate in activities to engage health care professionals to understand the prescriber group
• Prepare analysis and communication to expand our partnerships and investor dialogues
• Support Business development and Commercial team members on ad hoc tasks and projects

To succeed in the role, you:

• Are currently studying in the last year of your bachelor’s or first year of your master’s degree, preferably within business or life sciences
• Possess strong skills with Microsoft Office, especially Power Point and Excel
• Are proactive with strong personal drive and a high-quality mindset
• Have gained first experience in or possess a strong interest in the pharma/biotech industry
• Speak and write English fluently
