Junior consultants to join our Economics team
Do you want to solve real-life problems and create impact using your economics toolbox?
We are looking for bright economics students with an analytical mindset, positive energy and great problem-solving skills to join Implement Economics. We are a group of about 10 economists who work closely as a team to solve complex questions in economics that will help our clients make better and more sustainable choices. You will be met by a relaxed, open and supportive atmosphere.
Implement Economics is an integrated part of Implement Consulting Group – an unconventional consulting firm built on the belief that consulting is a people business. We are on a journey to bridge economics and management consulting skills to offer high-quality advisory to public organisations and private companies.
Job content – apply what you learn to solve real-life problems
As a junior consultant in Implement Economics, you will be trained in applying what you have learnt in your studies to solve real-life problems. You will embark on a steep learning curve and be part of the project team on equal terms with full-time consultants.
Our projects typically combine micro- and macroeconomics, industrial economics, financial and econometric tools to unfold the problem at hand. We are particularly passionate about:
- International trade and globalisation
- Economic regulation of the utility and network industries
- Socioeconomic analysis of new policy interventions
- Sustainable development and economic sustainability regulation
- Digitisation and digital platforms
- Market and industry analysis
- Sustainable growth and development
Your areas of responsibility will vary between external client engagements and internal assignments, but you should expect that a significant part of your work will be done for clients in collaboration with colleagues. On these projects, your areas of responsibility will vary from data collection and processing, data analysis, building Excel models and programming to managing certain parts of the project. When you are not working on client projects, you will be supporting internal business development.
The workload is approximately 15-25 hours per week. However, we also understand that you must attend to and prioritise your studies, and we are aware that there will be times when you are occupied with exams.
We are looking for people who:
- Are studying economics and have a strong academic record (e.g. from KU, AAU, CBS or similar)
- Are in the final year of their bachelor’s degree or are studying for their master’s degree
- Are curious and want to help with many different types of tasks
- Have strong analytical skills and do not compromise on quality
- Are customer-oriented, empathetic and entrepreneurial
What do we offer?
You will get to work at an unconventional consulting firm that strives to be the best place for the best people and aims to create a playground for talent to flourish by giving employees a great deal of autonomy to work in the way that best suits them, their teams and their projects.
You will be involved in client projects and work closely with experienced consultants who will help you in your professional development. In Implement Economics, we attach great importance to both personal and professional development. You will learn through practice, spar with mentors and colleagues and participate in our internal training programmes. If there is a match between you and our organisation, there may be a possibility of permanent employment as a full-time consultant after you complete your studies.
We are reviewing applications on an ongoing basis, so please apply as soon as possible and no later than 8 April 2022.
