Legal Junior Associate (student) - Copenhagen

We are looking for a part-time student for our Legal team which consists of nine employees. The team provides internal advice and counsel to all areas of Capital Four and supports the running of the day-to-day business as well as strategic developments. In our work, we interact with clients, external legal counsels and advisors, regulators, and various other stakeholders. 

As part of the team, you will get experience with performing KYC and anti-money laundering related tasks, which will be the main focus of your work. In addition, you may be asked to assist with addressing ad hoc legal queries, legal research, regulatory analysis and drafting legal memos. 

Job description

• Performing KYC and anti-money laundering related tasks in relation to clients, direct lending transactions, loans, Capital Four counterparties, to mention but a few
• Addressing internal legal queries.
• Drafting and reviewing documents and legal agreements.
• Conducting legal research and drafting legal memos in relation to local, EU and various country specific regulations.
• The position is estimated to be 15 hours a week with a flexible attitude towards working hours.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a relevant degree, e.g. Law, Economics, Finance, Business Administration and Commercial Law etc.
• Preferably with at least 2 years remaining of your education.
• A structured working approach and ability to consistently deliver high quality results.
• Great communication skills and high proficiency in written and spoken English.
