Student Analyst in Investment Department
Accunia Credit Management is a leading international asset manager specialising in investments in structured credit, private debt, and high yield bonds established in 2009. Our 30 employees manage more than DKK 20 billion on behalf of institutional and private investors through our CLO vehicles, alternative investment funds, and managed accounts.
How will you make an impact?
Our student team is recruiting a new member for the investment department to support the Accunia CLOs and Accunia’s High Yield fund in particular. We are expecting the position to develop over time as you gain knowledge and integrate into the role, but main tasks include:
▪ Building and updating databases for the CLO team;
▪ Performing quantitative analysis of portfolio data;
▪ Analysing financial reports and legal documents;
▪ Updating deal pipeline;
▪ Composing investments memos on high yield bonds and leveraged loans;
▪ Developing and automating solutions for recurring tasks; and
▪ Various ad-hoc tasks.
How will you qualify?
You are currently enrolled at a university or business school with at least two years of studies remaining, and you want to pursue a career within investments and financial markets. Additionally, we value that you:
▪ Are interested in credit investing;
▪ Have the ability to take responsibility and ownership of your tasks;
▪ Have attention to detail and a structured work approach;
▪ Have strong quantitative skills;
▪ Are familiar with MS Office, particularly Excel; and
▪ Are a team player with an ambitious and proactive mindset.
Furthermore, the ideal candidate will:
▪ Be able to show strong academic results in their study program;
▪ Have excellent skills in visualisation and communication; and
▪ Have interest, and maybe even experience, programming in languages such as VBA, SQL, and Python.
