Student Analyst

We are looking for a skilled and motivated Student Analyst to join our Fixed Income & Derivatives Sales team in the Rates & Credit family. You will be part of an innovative team covering Danish and International institutional clients and learn from the best in the business.

The Rates and Credit Family is part of the trading floor in Danske Bank. We count 60 colleagues with a great diversification of backgrounds and nationalities. Our value chain includes client advice, execution, risk management and analysis of global fixed income markets. We service both domestic and international clients, which are primarily institutional and corporates.

“I enjoy working in the Rates and Credit Family as I am constantly challenged with new and interesting tasks for which I have been given a lot of responsibility. In this role, I have had the opportunity to combine my interest for programming (primary VBA and Python), financial markets and derivatives pricing,” tells Frederik, whose position you will take over.

What will you do?

You will assist the Sales team in performing their daily tasks. This could for example include:

• Creating trade idea presentations
• Working with trade data
• Pricing various interest rate derivatives
• Developing various Excel applications

Although you will work in the Sales team, you will also work very closely with Research, Trading and Quant.

Can you inspire us and take initiative?

You are currently studying finance or economics, and have 2-3 years left of your studies. You have a
great interest in financial markets and in working on a hectic trading floor. Some experience with coding is an advantage, but not a prerequisite. We are looking for a candidate with a solid motivation, empathy and the ability to inspire us and take initiative.

After ended studies, there will be an opportunity to apply for a First Year Analyst position (our full-time fast-track talent program) in the Rates and Credit Family.
