STUDENT ANALYST FOR NORDIC PRIVATE EQUITY REAL ESTATE FIRM

Alma Property Partners is looking for a driven and motivated Student Analyst to join the investment team at their office in central Copenhagen. This is a unique opportunity to join a growing Nordic private equity real estate investor and be a key contributor to all existing and new investments across the platform.

Alma Property Partners is a leading private equity real estate company focused on making property investments in Sweden, Denmark, Finland and Norway. The company was founded by a group of senior real estate professionals with extensive experience and a strong track-record in the Nordic real estate investment market. The company is owned by the management team and built on the principles of active ownership and strong alignment with investors. 

Alma manages three closed-ended opportunistic real estate funds with over €700 million in equity commitments. The most recent fund, Alma Fund III, successfully completed its capital raising in late 2023, raising ~€350 million in equity capital, and is now actively investing. Alma Fund IV will begin capital raising during 2025.

The funds have ~€750 million in AUM, diversified across a portfolio that includes high-street and necessity-driven retail, light industrial and warehouse, multi-family residential, office and care properties.

THE POSITION

As a Student Analyst at Alma, you will be exposed to all aspects of real estate private equity, providing a platform for professional growth. Your main responsibility will be to support the investment team throughout the transaction process and evaluate new investment opportunities through tasks such as:

• Assisting in the evaluation of new investment opportunities and creating business plans / strategies
• Having an active role throughout the investment process including acquisitions, financing and disposals
• Preparing and analysing investment cash flows through financial modelling
• Preparing decision making materials for e.g. investment committees and financing institutions
• Participate and support the deal team in investment committee meetings
• Support the investment team with various analysis of strategic and operational nature
• Administrative ad hoc tasks

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for a student within the second or third year of a BSc programme. You have a strong interest in private equity investing and real estate. We are looking for the following characteristics:

• Systematic and analytical approach with strong attention to detail
• Strong technical skills incl. financial modelling, presentation and problem-solving skills
• An entrepreneurial mindset, team player and ability to learn quickly
• Commercial acumen and willingness to take initiative and embrace challenges
• Fluency in written and verbal Danish and English
• The position is located at Alma’s office in Copenhagen city center. The workload is approximately 20 hours per week, with flexibility to accommodate your academic commitments.
