Student Analyst Position at Waterland Private Equity

Waterland Private Equity is looking to hire a motivated and talented student analyst for its Copenhagen office. The opportunity will allow you to gain insight into the world of private equity and strengthen your analytical and interpersonal skills.

The position As a student analyst, you will become an integral part of the investment team, assisting on both new and existing deals. You will learn how to identify investment opportunities, analyze industries and targets, and perform valuations and financial modeling. In the position, your tasks will include:
- Assist in deal sourcing
- Industry analyses
- Company analyses
- Preparation of investment committee materials
- Preparation of materials for meetings with new investment opportunities
- Financial modeling and valuation
- Maintenance and development of analysis tools


The position is approximately 20 hours per week with flexibility from both sides, allowing you to succeed in both your studies and at Waterland. Following your bachelor’s degree, you will have the opportunity to do a 1-year internship between your bachelor’s degree and master’s degree, to further strengthen your capabilities and CV. Further, following your master’s degree, you will have the opportunity for a full-time position.


The candidate We are seeking a down-to-earth person, who thrives in a fast-paced environment with a high degree of responsibility. Further, the candidate should:
- Be a team player with a positive attitude and a desire to learn
- Be highly motivated for a career in private equity
- Be on the 2nd or 3rd year of studying for a B.Sc. or 1st year of studying for a M.Sc. in a relevant study program
- Fluent in English and a Scandinavian language (DK, SE, NO, or FI)
- Strong academic results
