Student Analyst to join our Nordic Innovation Team

As a Student Analyst you will get the opportunity to work hands-on with innovation and growth together with a strong-performing Student Team and talented colleagues in the largest and most innovative insurance company in the Nordics.

What we offer

Our Nordic Innovation team launches corporate start-ups, new products and innovative services across all our customers segments in Sweden, Norway and Denmark., and during the past two years, we have launched more than 50 new products and services. One example is the 100% app-based insurance company “Undo”. In addition, we host “The Camp” which is an entrepreneurial co-working space for fintech and insurtech companies, which is physically located with Tryg, and which is where you will be working alongside 30 other start-ups in a vibrant community. Our Nordic Innovation team comprise 20 talented full-time colleagues, coupled with a Student Team, with a wide variety of backgrounds and reports directly to the Executive Board of Tryg Group.

We are looking to onboard new talents to support our innovation agenda across the full innovation cycle, ranging from early stage concept ideation and customer testing to MVP design and later business model validation and launch. In the Nordic Innovation team, we have a strong focus on developing excellent innovative problem-solvers that can become the leaders of tomorrow. We do this via tailored personal development, and we promote a caring feedback culture with continuous coaching from both your direct leaders as well as the broader team. Lastly, we also believe that you learn by seeing and by doing – which we translate to exposure to a vast landscape of different stakeholders across the Group to allow you to familiarize with all the different parts of our business.

How you will create impact

In your daily work, you will be exposed to a large range of different and challenging problems across the full innovation cycle:

• Drive business model validation together with team members
• Build business cases to assess commercial potential of innovations
• Design go-to-market strategies for innovations across product, pricing, marketing and distribution
• Lead parts of innovation projects with more junior stakeholders on your own
• Structure and solve challenging problems, and bring recommendations to senior decision-makers

What we look for

We seek passionate, open-minded individuals with a wide range of academic backgrounds, work experiences, perspectives, thinking styles, and expertise. We are looking for students who are currently enrolled on a their  Bachelor’s degree or their Master’s degree. The ideal candidate will have a background that includes some of the following elements:

• Bachelor’s- or Master’s degree in Economics, Business Administration, Innovation, Finance, Engineering or similar with top results
• Relevant work experience from student job or internships within innovation, product development, consulting or finance
• International experience from working or studying abroad
• Fluency in one of the Scandinavian languages is a requirement
• Experienced Microsoft Office user (Excel, Word and PowerPoint)

Further, the ideal candidate has the following personal qualities:

• Great people skills and motivation to engage in stakeholder management
• An analytical/quantitative mindset and a logical approach to problem solving
