About the job:

In the Financial Crime Framework & Project Team, you will be working in a team with a strong focus on compliance and risk management in a truly global organisation. As a student here, you will be anchored in the team that’s responsible for making the client experience and regulatory requirements go hand in hand, whilst at the same time striking the right cord on automation, efficiency, and controls. Working with us, you will be an important part of our efforts to assess, implement and control the level of compliance with financial crime regulation and to provide advice and guidance to the business units and management.

Your core competencies and tasks are to help us in achiveing that our work is data-driven and based on digitized data collection flows to the extent possible. Maybe you are passionate about artificial intelligence, maybe you love to structure complex data and processes or maybe you thrive in making a process or system easier for one of the 300+ people using it?  

The Financial Crime Framework and Project team is a part of Group Operations. You will be working with a wide variety of tasks within the financial crime and anti-money laundering area. It is important that you are able to communicate broadly and that you are great at simplifying complex things. As Saxo Bank Group is an international organisation with global subsidiaries it is important to have a global mindset. 

Your profile: 

• You can structure complex and large amounts of data in Excel and transform it into easy-to-read presentations, tables and charts
• Experience with MS SQL or other query processing languages is an advantage
• Maybe you have skills in using visualization tools like Power BI
• Fluent in English - written and verbal
• You thrive in an environment with constant changes but still keeps an eye for the details 
• You have 2-4 years left of your studies
• You have experience, or an interest in one of the following fields:
• Finance or economics: Financial markets and how technology can be applied to make a difference
• Financial crime prevention and risk management: Finding new ways to prevent financial crime
• IT and business: Technology and digitalization is your domain and you're excited about how data can be leveraged to improve processes and offerings
