Student Assistant for Treasury Front Office

Join us in this role where you’ll support our team with daily hedging, cash management, and funding activities, while gaining in-depth knowledge of financial markets.
Welcome to Treasury & Capital Planning
You’ll be part of Treasury Front Office where you, together with your colleagues, will support your colleagues in the ongoing development of an already sophisticated Treasury setup. The team consists of junior and senior profiles with strong capabilities and knowledge of the treasury area and the organisation, and we perform many tasks with a high level of information sharing. As a team, we foster a high level of team spirit and support towards providing opportunities for everyone to learn and develop their talent.
You’ll play an important role in:
- performing miscellaneous tasks related to trading with financial products as foreign exchange, bonds, and derivatives
- assisting with the funding of Ørsted subsidiaries and with the maintenance of our Internal Bank database and setup
- supporting with correct deal capturing into Quantum, our Treasury Management System
- running ad hoc analysis in close collaboration with Ørsted’s Funding and Risk Management teams
- developing and automating repetitive processes.
To succeed in the role, you:
- are currently studying a bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, or similar
- have an eagerness to learn and are good at communicating complex matters in a simple way, being fluent in English
- have an interest in financial markets
- challenge the status quo while having a “get the job done” mindset
- have an analytical mindset and good IT competences; programming experience is a plus, but not a must.
