About This Opportunity

In Nordea Asset Management’s Emerging Markets Debt Team, we are looking for a Student Assistant. We are known for our professional focus on robust, repeatable and transparent processes when it comes to investments and integrating E, S and G in our investment decisions. We want to expand this even further with you!

 

Your Future Responsibilities

We seek a student to support the team’s quantitative analysts and the development and maintenance of quantitative models and tools. The student will be responsible for maintaining existing tools in Excel/VBA, collecting and organising data for analysis, and assist in exploring opportunities for improvements in our modelling frameworks or development of novel strategies.

The job contains programming, work with databases and financial time series analysis and, hence, having an interest in these areas is a necessity for you to fulfil the tasks.

Finally, we work as a team and we seek someone who is a team-oriented person and enjoys working in collaboration with peers.

Your background and skills:

• You are close to finishing your bachelor’s degree or have just begun a master’s degree in Economics, Finance, Engineering, Data science or related quantitative fields.
• Have experience with programming. For example in VBA, SQL and R (or similar language). Additional experience with Power Bi is a bonus.
• A well written and oral English language.
