Student assistant wanted for the ROCKWOOL Foundation's project database

The ROCKWOOL Foundation is seeking a student employee with an interest in working with data in the social sciences. The position is approximately 15 hours per week and ideal for a curious, independent, organized, and committed student with at least 1½ years remaining in their studies. Preferred fields of study include social sciences, natural sciences, or IT (e.g., stud.polit., stud.mat-øk., stud.scient.soc., stud.polyt., etc.).

You will support the Data Manager with upkeep and coordination of our project database at Statistics Denmark. Experience with statistical or econometric software, especially STATA (our primarily used program), is a plus but not required. 

Typical responsibilities include:

• Archiving and registering data received from Statistics Denmark.
• Processing data requests and distributing datasets to researchers.
• Reviewing and updating data documentation.
• Assisting with general data handling and database maintenance.

This position offers experience in an impactful social science research organization with opportunities to develop the project database while working with researchers in a comfortable workplace located in central Copenhagen.
