Student in Nordea, Investments/ Wealth Management

We are looking for a student in Wealth Management Investments. You will contribute pro-actively and in a self-starting manner to the monthly work around the Global Asset Allocation Strategy (GAAS), our flag-ship publication as well as other regular tasks and projects. This will give you a unique opportunity to link your academic background with practical work in different parts of the investment and advice process.

Your future responsibilities

​WM Investments is a part of Investment Center, where we are in charge of building the foundation for all investment advice for our customers in Personal banking, Private banking and Corporate banking. The Investments team consists of 3 units: Investment Strategy, House View and Portfolio Solutions. You will participate strongly on securing deliveries from our House View team but also contribute to the other teams.

What you’ll be doing:

• You will work within the field of financial markets, macroeconomics and portfolio theory, helping us to develop and improve asset allocation models and tools.
• You will be assisting with presentation material for both internal and external events.
• You will be engaging with stakeholders within Nordea.
• You will also be expected to take care of administrative tasks, e.g. assisting in planning road shows, booking meeting rooms, etc.

We expect you to grow in your role, gradually taking over more responsibility in the asset allocation process.

The role is based in Copenhagen. It is a must to master at least one Nordic language on native level.

WM ​Investments consist of 20+ highly skilled investment professionals across the Nordics, and the team manages and oversees portfolios with total assets of north of 200bn EUR, of both on-balance sheet and off-balance sheet assets.

Your profile and background:

• Academic mindset as you are currently taking your Bachelor’s or Master’s degree within Finance/Economics/Mathematics
• Genuine interest in global financial markets and economic developments
• Strong analytical approach, capability to work independently, and work with a high level of responsibility
• Experience with Excel (VBA) and Power Point is a plus
• High motivation to be a part of the investments team and grow in the role
• Communication skills both written and spoken in at least one of the Nordic languages and English is required
