Our company and technology

We are a Danish company founded, owned and managed since 2003 by three entrepreneurs with a strong passion for sports. Today, our headquarters is located in Vedbaek, Denmark and there are offices in New York, Phoenix, Poland, Japan, and Korea. Of the more than 400 people we employ worldwide, more than 130 are engaged in R&D in Vedbaek.

TrackMan products are used in golf, baseball, football, and American football and convert raw data from Doppler radar signals to measure ball and equipment kinematics. A patented combination of camera and radar fuses the radar signal with information from video feeds and other sensors. This provides extremely accurate, valuable insights for athletes ranging from top world-class professionals to enthusiastic amateurs, as well as coaches, scouts, and clubs.

What we can offer you

From day 1, you will be working with supply chain and procurement to support our Cost Management Lead – a former McKinsey consultant. You will be exposed to a wide variety of tasks to secure supply chain resilience and cost competitiveness, which is the heart of the Trackman supply chain. You will run your own projects based on the skillset you want to develop – whether that is finding and negotiating with new vendors, forecasting product demand and securing supply at suppliers, preparing and running tenders (RFPs, RFQs), story lining and developing compelling PowerPoint presentations – all in close collaboration with our Cost Management Lead that will support your professional development.

Example of tasks include, but is not limited to:

• Prepare and run tenders
• Conduct price benchmarks on specific suppliers and support negotiations
• Find and validate new potential suppliers
• Create business cases to support management decisions
• Support demand and supply forecasting across business functions
• Take lead on ad-hoc projects related to large spend purchases and drive project from demand definition to execution
• Participate in creation of procurement and supply chain strategies
• Development of PowerPoint presentations and present to COO/CFO/CEO
• Support monthly reporting on cost development

We offer you a paid internship with the opportunity to secure a full-time offer with TrackMan after finishing the internship. Should you instead wish to seek employment in Finance, Consulting or something similar, we offer to help you prepare for these interviews.

What we are looking for

We are looking for a candidate who is excited by the opportunity to make a difference and learn about sports and technology. It is not necessary that you are an expert in sports – much more important is that you are curious and have a drive for succeeding with what you do.

Requirements

• Bachelor or Master student with a proven academic record within Supply Chain, Economics, Finance, Business, or the like
• Able to work full-time or close to full-time during Fall 2021 (preferred start date early August or September)
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
• A team-player assuming responsibility and achieving results, independently and as part of a team
• Previous experience from another relevant student job is a plus
