TRYG GROUP STRATEGY IS LOOKING FOR A STRATEGY ANALYST

The role

As a part-time Strategy Analyst, you will be working directly with an ambitious team with backgrounds from tier-one consultancies (McKinsey, BCG, Bain), the Danish Finance Ministry, launching start-ups, and top-tier universities such as LSE and Harvard.

The Strategy Analyst position offers a unique opportunity to develop and bolster your problem-solving and analytical capabilities by working closely with consultants and project leaders on transformational projects across Tryg Group. We offer the opportunity to become part of a skilled and ambitious team with great focus on personal and professional development inspired by the consultancy feedback culture. In other words, we offer to help you start building the consultant toolbox as a student.

Expected contribution is ~20 hours per week, with great flexibility from our side around exams (we also offer the opportunity to be staffed full-time on projects).

Tasks and responsibilities on strategy projects may include:

• Conducting commercial analyses such as industry analysis and competitive benchmarks
• Analyze information, test hypotheses, and develop recommendations for senior Tryg executives
• Independently drive project workstreams with support from senior consultants

Your profile

You are ambitious, motivated, a team-player, and most importantly willing to learn. As we are staffed in smaller consulting teams on various projects, it is important that you are proactive and engaged.

Ideally, you excel both socially and academically with strong grades – any experience from prior student jobs and/or student organizations is also highly valued, though not essential.

You are very structured with solid analytical skills and are attentive to details. You should be eager to proactively drive project workstreams and embrace the high level of responsibility we offer. We also expect you to be open to receiving and giving feedback to colleagues.

You are a native in Danish, Norwegian, or Swedish and fluent in English. Prior experience with PowerPoint and Excel is an advantage.
