Today it is Batzul Gerelsaikhan who answered the questions.
How are You going to celebrate Christmas this year?
I don’t celebrate Christmas. Well, Mongolia has Buddhism and/or Shamanism as their religion, so we do not celebrate Christmas as festive as the Christian countries, but some Christian minorities in Mongolia do. I am actually not even religious. But ever since I have come to Denmark, i have not missed celebrating a single Christmas. I am always surprisingly welcomed to my friends' place over the Christmas, but this year I'll head all the way to Langeland, where my mother's good-old-Danish friends celebrate their Christmas. It takes almost half-a-day to go there, so I'll probably bring my Macro C notes in the train - the final exam is set awfully on January 4.
Which Christmas present do you hope to get?
My MacBook is over 4 years old, and will crash down in matter of time and condition (it freezes every time I try to do something on SAS), so I really want the new MacBook Pro. Or maybe an iPad 2....just kidding. Of course, I can not wish such big presents from my mother's friends! :P So I'll stick to the "GREAT BOOKS".
Which song do you choose when you are dancing around the three?
"Nu er det jul igen". I like running around the house holding hands, not just around the tree.
What is on the menu on Christmas eve?
Hmm, I'm guessing: RUBY port wine to start, the big duck and its side dishes, like some massive sweet potatoes; wine and Christmas beer; rice pudding with almond and vanilla cream topped with cherry sauce (of course); and cookies and coffee later with bailey, cognac or whiskey. Snaps are for julefrokost, right?
What is your most appreciated Christmas tradition?
Presents! LOL. Well, the whole warmth of the family-gathering-scenario actually. But Christmas can make me feel sad sometimes, because it makes me miss my family back home really bad.
If you could have one wish of economic nature fulfilled, what should it be?
Get the University of Copenhagen's Master Scholarship for non-EU students in September, 2012. I'm really crossing my fingers on it!
What is your favorite Christmas tv-show?
Em, I don't really have one.
What is the best Christmas present you have ever received?
That would be Julekalendar. It is not the most expensive one, but the effort put into it were admirable, where all 24 presents were wrapped and decorated in their own special ways. I had Hello Kitty socks, Hello Kitty underwear, Hello Kitty shoelaces - it was fularious - various chocolate bars, candles etc...small, but cherished presents every morning. If i ever want to take some tradition from Christmas, it will definitely be this one. I felt like a little kid again :D
