This is your chance to make a positive impact and learn everything about life as a Consultant.
Crack the Case is an annual case competition that focuses on Social Impact cases, and this year we are proud to partner up with SMILfonden. Since 2014, SMILfonden has helped families with children who suffer from severe or chronic diseases. Their goal is ultimately to create joyful occasions for the families and children struggling with both pain and anxiety on a daily basis - trying to make a difficult time easier for everyone involved, by adding more joy, hope and a higher life quality to their everyday lives.
At this year’s case competition, you will work in groups consisting of 4-5 people. Together, you will solve a real-life case for SMILfonden on their future communication and fundraising strategy, being an organization in growth. On the last day, you will present your solution in front of a panel of judges. The winning group will have the opportunity to present their findings to the leadership team and board of SMILfonden.
At the end of the competition, a select number of students will be offered six weeks of paid internship with BCG Copenhagen. The timing of the potential internship will be accommodated to your studies.
More about the competition
This year, the competition will take place from October 7-9 at Nimb Hotel in Copenhagen. During the three-day case competition, you will be coached by BCG consultants and provided with BCG tools and techniques to help you solve the case. In between all the hard work, we will have fun getting to know each other through dinners and team activities as well as finish off with a celebratory party on the last day! This event is a fantastic opportunity for you to make an impact, expand your network and get first-hand experience of what it is like to be a Management Consultant with BCG.
Please note that during the three-day competition you will be staying at the Nimb Hotel, and share a room together with one other student-participant from the event.
