Start your career climb as a Novo Nordisk Finance graduate

Begin the journey of a lifetime in September 2013
Novo Nordisk’s Finance Graduate programmes are great springboards for launching life-changing careers. As a global pharmaceutical company and the world leader in diabetes care we can give you the opportunity to use your recently-acquired master’s degree to make a difference.

Start your journey
Our Corporate Finance and European Finance Graduate Programmes are designed to provide comprehensive knowledge of the Novo Nordisk finance operation and a solid understanding of our underlying business. During the programme you will develop skills within financial planning, project management, business intelligence, risk management and more.

Scope of the programmes - Corporate Finance Graduate Programme
This programme is a 2-year journey consisting of four 6-month rotations. Three rotations will take place in our corporate headquarters in Denmark, with one rotation in one of our global affiliates.

  • European Finance Graduate Programme Also a 2-year journey, this programme consists of three 8-month rotations. Beginning with a rotation in our European regional headquarters in Switzerland, you will then have one rotation in our corporate headquarters in Denmark and one rotation in a large sales affiliate in Europe.

A global career

After successfully completing the programme you will be equipped with the skills to embark on your career at Novo Nordisk with a permanent position - typically within the Corporate or European Finance organisation or in a business analysis role related more directly to sales and marketing. While you could be based in Denmark or elsewhere in Europe, your broad network and international experience from the programme will enable global career opportunities.

Requirements
To join a Finance Graduate Programme, you must hold a master’s degree in a relevant subject, for example within Finance, Management Accounting, Economics or International Business and have no more than 1 year of work experience since finishing your studies. If joining Novo Nordisk appeals to you, not because of the competitive salary we offer, but because the work we do is so rewarding - as we make a difference to the lives of people with chronic conditions around the world.
